1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR WATER METER INSTALLATION- The household must own a legal residential property but has not yet had a water meter installed.
- The requested installation location must be within the water supply coverage area of Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu Water Supply Joint Stock Company.
- The location must not be in an area officially notified by local authorities for clearance or land acquisition.
2. REQUIRED APPLICATION DOSSIER (1 SET)
- Water Meter Installation Request Form (according to the prescribed template).
- Citizen Identity Card (CCCD) of the applicant (photocopy).
- Documents proving the legal right to use the land/property at the requested installation location:
- Land Use Right Certificate (photocopy).
- House purchase/sale or lease contract (photocopy).
3. WATER METER INSTALLATION PROCESS
Step 1: Application Submission
- The customer prepares the required dossier (01 set of documents).
- Submits the dossier at BWACO’s transaction points (detailed in the document) or via online channels (BWACO Customer Service App, website, or Hotline 1900 636 646).
Step 2: Receiving and Reviewing the Dossier
- The receiving department checks the validity and completeness of the documents.
- If the dossier is incomplete/invalid, the customer will be notified for supplementary submission.
Step 3: Site Survey
- BWACO assigns technical staff to survey the installation location.
- The staff discusses the installation plan and the meter’s location with the customer, ensuring compliance with technical regulations.
Step 4: Contract Signing and Cost Notification
- The installation is agreed upon, and the water supply contract is signed with the customer according to the company’s template and regulations.
- Note: The water meter installation is free of charge when the pipe length from the starting point to the meter cluster is ≤ 10m
- If the pipe length is > 10m, the customer shall bear the cost for the additional length, calculated based on the specific cost estimate provided by the company.
Step 5: Water Meter Installation Execution
- BWACO assigns personnel to execute the installation based on the survey report and agreed technical requirements (within 15 working days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays).
- The process includes acceptance testing, handover, and guidance on usage.
Step 6: Contract Activation & Official Water Supply
- The contract is activated, and water is officially supplied to the customer.
